The success of the R-9DV with the photon Vulcan-type firing unit led to the development of the R-9DV2 NORTHERN LIGHTS under orders from the military top brass. It is equipped with an enhanced firing unit that achieves approximately twice the continuous firing time of conventional units by suppressing the recoil during photon vulcan ejection and by adding a muzzle.
